Bernice “Bee” B. Nordine, 87, of Brighton, CO., passed away at Brookdale Assisted Living on September 26, 2023. Bee was born in Philadelphia, PA., on December 20,1935 to Ethel Shulman and Morris Cohen. Bee attended Fairfax High School of Los Angeles,CA.

Bee lived in Philadelphia with her parents and younger brother, Allen Abraham Cohen, until her family moved to California. California is where she found tenacity for life and drive for success. At the tenderage of 11, she started working to help support her family, while still attending school and where she found her love for singing. She first started singing in Junior High and continued into her High School years, where she was asked to join a club called the “Celests.”

During High School, Bee first met Clifford Eugene Appel Jr., which she would later marry right after she graduated high school. During their 10 years of marriage, they would welcome three sons, Ira, Phillip and Roger. Later, Bee met her second husband, Walter Max Sharp, with whom she had her one and only daughter, Cynthia. After many years of marriage to Walter, they later divorced and that is when Bee met the “Love of her Life,” Conrad C. Nordine, while working at TRW. Bee and Conrad enjoyed 35 years of blissful marriage until his passing in 2012.

Prior to Bee working at TRW, she had a very successful career working for many prestigious companies, such as Miller Desk and RCA. Bee was most proud of her job and accomplishments with TRW. She worked at TRW for a period of ten years, where she would see many career successes. She started out as Secretary to the President, then became Travel Manager and retired as Administrative Assistant to the President.

Bee was known to say that life was good to her with a few exceptions, but how sweet it was.
