Obituary of Barbara Allen Noonan

The Lord has a new angel. Barbara Noonan of Northglenn, Colorado, sadly passed away on September 27th, 2023.

Barbara was born in Aurora, Illinois on December 8, 1939 to Vernon and Dolly Dimple Kribs. She met John Matthew Noonan while studying to be a Registered Nurse in Springfield, IL. John and Barbara married on June 24th, 1960 and moved to Chicago briefly until John graduated. They relocated to Indianapolis, IN where they gave life to two daughters and a son (Ellen, John and Della). After building their dream house in the rural area of Greenfield, Indiana, they gave life to two more daughters (Veronica and Connie). They worked and raised their family in Greenfield, and traveled to Gulf Shores, Alabama during retirement until moving permanently to Summerdale, Alabama in 2013.

Barbara adored her family and serving others with a deep affection and dedication to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed camping and fishing trips with the family and traveling with her husband and friends to places all over the world. Some of her favorite activities included singing in the choir, playing the piano and keyboard with a deep appreciation for music, bowling, crafting, time in God’s word, and games with friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her sister, Cherry (Steve) Sigafoos. Barbara is survived by her husband John and their five children, 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren; Daughter Ellen (Steve) Spencer of Indianapolis, IN and their daughter Michelle - Son John (Yelena) Noonan of Frisco, TX and their children Jennifer, Haylee, Victoria, Michael and David – Daughter Delvina (Steve) Young of Thornton, CO and their children Nicholas, Jessica (Trevor, and sons Adrian and Jayden), and Trienna – Daughter Veronica Noonan of Saint Francisville, LA and her children Donald, Jordon, Carmen and Jessica (daughter Kadence) – Daughter Connie Noonan of Palm Harbor, FL and her daughter Shelby.

Barbara would like to share God’s love with everyone. In order to help her do this, we will be having a Celebration of Life at Northern Hills Church, 5061 E 160th Ave, Brighton, CO 80602 at 10am on Saturday, November 18th, 2023. A reception will follow.
