Obituary of Rose Jane Ruch

Rose Jane Ruch passed away on September 16, 2023. Her parents, Hans and Anna Johansen welcomed her into the world on July 9, 1931 in Sleepy Eye, MN.

Rose moved to Colorado in 1956. She married William Ruch.They had three daughters, Karen, Lou Ann and Teri Jo. Rose was a stay-at-home mom for many years. When she decided to go back to work, she got hired by Kmart. She was employed there for several years and then retired. She stayed in touch with many of her coworkers by attending monthly lunches. Rose enjoyed family gatherings and visiting with everyone. She remembered everyone’s birthdays and made sure a card was sent or a phone call was made.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband William Ruch, daughter Teri Jo Ruch, stepdaughter Laura Busch, son-in-law Andrew Caravas, brother Harold Carlson, sister Lillian Jensen, sister Nettie Read, sister Mary Robb and sister Margie Schuder.

She is survived by  aughter Karen Caravas, daughter Lou Ann Gentry, stepson Bill Ruch and wife Elaine and step son-in-law George Busch. Rose loved visiting with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made sure to let them know they were all equally loved and very special.

Rose was a prayer warrior and was praying right up until the time she passed away. She was kind and compassionate. We will miss hearing her voice and and her laughter.
