Obituary of Judith Ann Morss

Judith Ann Morss, age 80, was born June 12, 1943 in Edgeley, North Dakota to Herbert and Agatha George.

She grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and earned her Bachelor's Degree from The University of Minnesota.

She then went on to earn her Masters from The University of Michigan and her PhD from The University of Nebraska. Judith taught at various high schools and colleges throughout her career including Central Texas State, Bellevue University and Kaplan University.

During Judith’s working years she also volunteered for various charities and boards including the Board for the Great Plains Girl Scout Council, Board for AAUW and Board for Catholic Daughters. She was also a longtime member of St. Mary’s of Bellevue Catholic Church.

Judith was married for 53 years to Dean Morss (Retired Air Force) and lived all over the world during his Air Force Career. After retirement they ended up living in Bellevue, Nebraska for 35 years.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean and brother John.

She is survived by her daughter Kristin, son-in-law Benjamin, grandsons Charley and Lucas, sister-in-law Joanne and nieces Amanda and Melinda.

Judith enjoyed traveling, reading, cross-stitch and all things Mickey Mouse.

A private burial will be held in 2024 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
