Obituary of Cathy Sue Trujillo

Cathy Sue Trujillo, age 65, passed away on August 31, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on July 17, 1958 in North Carolina to parents Clarence Gwyn and Francis Haynes. 

Preceding Cathy in death are her parents Clarence Gwyn and Francis Haynes.

Those left behind to cherish Cathy's memory are daughter Valerie McElrath, son-in-law Jeremiah McElrath, grandsons Darian, Ashton and granddaughter Fantashia, son Joseph McCurry, daughter-in-law Heather McCurry, granddaughters Abigail and Lydia and grandson Jacob as well as numerous friends throughout the years that she loved so deeply and treated like family.

Cathy loved gnomes, the holidays and making her family, friends and strangers smile. 

A viewing for Cathy will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 2:00PM at The Springs Funeral Services - Platte. 3115 E. Platte Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
