Obituary of Roger Allen Mosbarger
Roger Mosbarger, 62, of Englewood Colorado passed away on August 26, 2023. He was born on June 16, 1961, in Denver, Colorado. Roger was a loving and family oriented individual, known for his stubbornness, creativity, and craftiness.
In his career, Roger dedicated himself to hard labor and construction, doing whatever was necessary to provide for his family. Outside of work he had a passion for fishing, crafts, tattoos, sketch art, motorcycles, and wood carvings. He also actively worked towards preventing youth drug addiction with a “don’t be like me” attitude. After several years of addiction, he remained clean and sober for 21 years.
Roger is survived by his children, Krista, Matthew, Mella and Keith. He was grandfather of Michael, David, James, Marryah, Amber, Michelle, Ryan, Ciddalee, Ethan, Linus, Logan, Rhiannon, Lana. He had a new great-grandson born that he did not get to meet. He was the brother to Sheryl, Cathy, Diana and Marcia, and the only son of H.C. (Joke) Mosbarger and Amber Mosbarger.
At this time, Rogers family will not be having a funeral. Instead, they will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date to celebrate him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be sent to either the Salvation Army or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in his name. Both organizations held a special place in his heart for his own recovery and for finding a cure for one of his grandchildren. Your support to these organizations will continue his fight.
Please join us in remembering Roger Mosbarger, a beloved brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. His memory will be forever cherished in our hearts and on the flesh, he blessed with his artistic talent.
