Sheila Jannett Parker, who lovingly went by Bunny Girl, Aunt Sheila, She-bear was born on January 4th, 1965, peacefully passed away losing her short battle with cancer in her home in Golden Colorado on August 24th, 2023. She is preceded in death by Husband Lyle Parker, Sister Christine Shrader Patterson, Brother Joel Anderson and is survived by her parents Patricia and Terry Anderson, Brother Less Shrader, Sister KimmerSue Anderson, Brother Wade Anderson, step daughters Colleen Parker, Danette Parker, Denise Englert, Step Son David Parker, and many Nieces, and Nephews along with dozens of cousins.

Sheila graduated from Fort Lupton High school in 1983 where she was a interictal part of their basketball, volleyball, and band, where she was the drum major. She worked for Denver Burglar Alarm where she met Lyle. Sheila then married Lyle Parker, the love of her life on December 29th, 1993, until Lyles' passing in 2020. Once Lyle retired, she worked for the BNSF railroad and moved to Kansas where she began her 29 year career as a crew caller. While working with the railroad she wore many hats from conductor to yard Foreman.

Sheila’s hobbies included visiting the country’s casinos with her husband Lyle. She also loved the outdoors which included river rafting, fishing, hunting, camping.

Sheila was really looking forward to her hard-earned retirement. She had already made many plans with her great friends and family.

As many of you know she had a heart of gold but would never back down from her principals. She gave the best hugs and was never the first one to let go. Her infectious laugh, smile and beautiful kind eyes will be missed dearly.

Sheila’s favorite passage PSALMS 23

The LORD is my Shepard. I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me besides the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff and they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me. All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
