BONNIE LOU SWEENEY OBITUARY

04/05/1948 - 8/09/2023

Bonnie L. Sweeney, 75, went to her heavenly home on August 9, 2023, in Littleton, CO. She was born to parents David B. Jobe and Zella D. (Boros) Jobe on April 6, 1948, in Toledo, OH.

She was a 1966 graduate of Clay High School and attended Owens Community College graduating as class Valedictorian. Following graduation, she was the Medical Administrator of the Endocrine & Diabetes Center of Toledo and for the VA of Rhode Island for many years. Her family were faithful members of First Assembly of God in Toledo where she served as Women’s Ministry Leader, taught Sunday School and lead various Bible studies.

Bonnie was married to Robert Sweeney in 1970 and he preceded her in death in 2013. They loved visiting the east coast in Maine and Massachusetts while living in Providence, RI. She is survived by two sons, Gregory of Sloatsburg, NY (wife Christine) and Kevin of Littleton, CO, brother, David R. Jobe, of Toledo, OH, sister, Susan (Jobe) Davis (husband David), of Colorado Springs, CO, and nieces Rene and Stephanie. She was a great-aunt to Reese, Paige, Finley, Lennon Lou, Eli and Beckett and loved spending time with them reading and having fun visiting various museums in Denver.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Concordia on the Lake Event Center, 6550 South Ammons Way, Littleton, CO at 1:00pm.
