Obituary of Franklin F. Ortiz

 

 

Franklin Ortiz, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, will be remembered for his faith, musical talents, and unwavering dedication to sharing the message of God's love.  He was married to  Roberta Christina for 58 years.  He worked for the Denver Water Board for many years until his retirement in June 2004.

 

He touched the lives of many through his exceptional ability to connect with people, using his compassionate nature and kind spirit to touch their hearts and inspire transformation through the love of Jesus Christ.

 

Franklin leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us in our own journeys of faith.

 

Franklin is survived by his sisters: Dee, Sally, and Diana, and his brothers:  Tony and Stanley.    Franklin is survived by his sons, daughters, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents,Filomeno and Andrea, his wife, Roberta, his sister, Lucy, and his brothers: Robert and William. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Corine. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon, and a granddaughter, Marisa.  


 

A funeral mass to honor and celebrate the life of Franklin Ortiz will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 1 pm, Presentation of Our Lady Church, 695 Julian Street, Denver, CO 80204. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects.  Reception to follow at NALC branch 47 Union Hall, 5151 W. 1st Ave., Denver, Co 80219.

 

May Franklin's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who mourn his loss.
