Floramay (Tink) Stubbs went home to her Heavenly Father June 27, 2023, at age 79. She passed peacefully in her sleep in the home Marion built with love. She was born in Rushville, Nebraska on Groundhog's day February 2, 1944. The third child of Enoch and Lorraine (Robins)
Tiensvold. She graduated from Rushville High School then went on to Salt Lake City, Utah to study cosmetology. Upon graduating she moved to Denver and then to Burlington. There she fell in love with Marion Stubbs marrying him June 20, 1965. She babysat and started a career with H & R Block. Moving to Golden when Marion was transfer to the Eisenhower tunnel in 1976. She retired from H&R Block after 25 years of service. She continued to prepare taxes for family and friends. An avid sports fan, she was thrilled when the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup in 2022. And again when the Denver Nuggets won the NBA Championship in 2023. Crocheting was second to sports. She made and donated many baby blankets to The Children's Hospital. She had slowed down in the last two years but always reminisced about her many trips with Marion. She is survived by two daughters Tracey (Jerry) Carter, Kelly (Gerry) Perna. Grandchildren Neil, Alex (Lea) and Kaylee. Two great grands, Gunnar and Owen with a third expected the end of July. Along with numerous family members both related by blood and love.
Services will be forthcoming. Until we meet in GOD's garden; love and peace.
