In Loving Memory of Collene Dix

 

This beautiful “Little Lady” passed away peacefully on June 26^th, 2023, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by husband, Marvin, son Mike with spouse, Sherry Dix, daughter Kimberly with spouse Dave Engel, nine grandchildren (spouses included), seven great grandchildren, and two, great-great grandchildren.

She was born in Loveland, Colorado on September 19^th, 1934. As a premature baby on a small farm, she survived many health challenges that made her a strong and determined human being. Her spirit will continue to live in our hearts forever. She has touched so many lives with her kindness.

Her loving family and friends will always remember her smile, her giggles and contagious laugh. She always provided support and love to everyone she knew. She was known for her cooking and baking, especially everyone’s favorite, chocolate chip cookies. She loved traveling, gardening, sewing, music, dancing and hanging out with family and friends to share funny memories.

Though we mourn her loss, we know she will be watching over us and is at peace.

A celebration of Collene’s life will be held on September 23, 2023. Specific memorial details still to be announced.
