Obituary of Gregory Allen Jackson

Gregory Allen Jackson, beloved father, brother, and friend, joined the ancestral realm on June 18, 2023, leaving cherished memories and a legacy of love. Born on February 9, 1951, Gregory was the son of Reverend Harrison Jackson and Eva Smith.

Greg attended East High School, graduating in 1969. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army for two years, reaching the rank of Private First Class, demonstrating his unwavering sense of duty and honor.

In 1968, Greg married his high school sweetheart, LaVonda Harrison. The couple had two children, Anthony Jackson, and Londell Jackson. In 1980, Greg married Claudia Holmes, becoming a caring stepfather to Nelsongie Holmes and Evette Holmes.

Greg found joy in simple pleasures, with a passion for food, music, and new experiences, inspiring those around him.

Greg was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters: Loyce Ann Wong and Kay Scott, and three brothers: Michael Walker, Rudy Domio, and Raymond Jackson. Furthermore, he was preceded in death by both of his former wives.

Greg is survived by his two sons, his two step-daughters, four sisters: Barbara Holland, Audrey Jackson-Coleman, Viola Turner, and Sara Thomas, and four brothers: Joseph Jackson, Sr., Harrison Jackson, Paul Domio, and Bennie Walton, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

As we bid farewell to Greg, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and the impact he made on those around him. His legacy will remain etched in our hearts, a reminder of a life well-lived and deeply loved.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating the life and legacy of Gregory Allen Jackson. The gathering will take place on July 20, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at All States Cremation, located at 3200 Wadsworth Blvd1338 S Jason St. Denver, CO 80223. Following the service, an interment service with honors will be held at Fort Logan Military Cemetery, beginning at 2:15 PM.


In true homage to Gregory's vibrant spirit, we kindly request that guests refrain from donning somber black attire. Instead, let us embrace the radiance of life by adorning ourselves in light, uplifting colors.
