Obituary of Austin Joseph Helms
Austin’s friends say if they had to describe him in one word it would be “buddy”. He was true and loyal to all his friends, and family was very important to him.
He was a dedicated hard worker and his people loved him as he rose through the ranks at ABM to become an area manager.
Austin made the very best of friends when he joined the cross country team in high school. To this day they are all still fast friends. Austin lettered in cross country with all of them as well.
He loved music, skateboarding, kayaking, fishing, camping, animals, taking care of his car and playing or working on his computer. He was so smart and would dedicate himself to research to figure anything out.
A gentle soul that will be missed by family and friends
Austin was born on Sept.15, 1991 to Steven and Katherine Helms
He is survived by both his parents, his brother Tyler Steven Helms, his son Lucas James Helms, his grandpa Deacon Joseph Kurtenbach, his grandparents Warren and Connie Woodward, step mother Toni Spann-Helms, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandma Marge Kurtenbach and his grandpa Duane Helms.
He touched so many lives and will forever be in our hearts. Until we see him again, he’s playing up in heaven with Mr. Darth.
There will be a celebration of his life on June 23rd at 10:30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn CO
If love could have saved him he would have lived forever.
