He attended two High Adventure camps, backpacking at Philmont Scout Ranch and sailing at Sea Base High Adventure in Florida. Mark was an Eagle Scout and earned the rank of Brotherhood of the Order of the Arrow. Mark loved the mountains and climbed many of Colorado’s 14ers.
Ever a Texas Aggie he followed all the A&M sports teams but especially baseball and football and could be found watching the games with local Denver Aggies including his mom Mary or his dad Ray, both fellow Aggie former students.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Gay, father, Ray Godsey, brother Erik Godsey (Raquel) and a niece and 2 nephews, his Aunt Pat (Tim) Allison, Aunt Pam Gay, Uncle Bill (Shirley) Gay, several cousins and his former spouse Kelsey Butler.
