Obituary of Joshua Steve Wieberg

Joshua Steve Wieberg, 36, of Lakewood, died Saturday May 20, 2023, at Denver Health after a lingering illness. Joshua was born April 7, 1987, at Denver Health. Josh is survived by his mother, Lisa Joann Padilla, and father Raymond Charles Ulibarri; his brothers Ray Gonzales, Cody Jewell, Carlos Padilla, Jr and two sisters Ashley R. Hernandez (Nate Trujillo) and Candyse A. Jewell (David Gonzales-Baros). His grandparents Gary and Rebecca Jewell. His Uncles Tony Armijo (Christie), Andrew (Veronica) Chacon. Josh was raised by his stepdad Kelly B Jewell.

He was preceded in death by his sister Shantal Jewell, brother Brian S. Jewell, his uncle Vince M. Wieberg and his grandparents Valdamar “Baldie” Chacon and Amelia (Morales) Chacon.

Joshua was a special uncle to all his nieces, nephews, and cousins. His nieces Liliana, Annalisa, Rebecca, Isabella and Sophia and nephews Nathan, Jr and Lorenzo. His cousins Anthony, Jr; Shawn, Savanah, Alicia, Mariah, Shantal, Mercedes, AJ, and Leandra. He, also, has many aunts, uncles and cousins that will miss him.

Josh was very independent and loved skateboarding, playing pool (billiards), drawing and painting, graffiti or tagging (AUSM), traveling, and socializing with his many friends.

A service will be held on Friday June 23, 2023, at the St Cajetan Church, 299 S Raleigh St, Denver, CO 80219 at 10:00am, ending at 12:00pm. Josh chose to be cremated, so there will not be a graveside service.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday June 23, 2023, at Prospect Park, 4005 Kipling St., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 from 1:30pm until 9:00pm. And Dove releases at 4:00pm. Also, there will be a balloon release at the park. Bring Red, Black or Gold Balloons.
