Obituary of David Wayne Havens

David Wayne Havens, 59, passed away on May 27, 2023 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 24, 1964 in Miami, Florida.

David bravely and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, after his honorable discharge he went on to serve his community as a first responder. 

He was a loving husband, father, best friend you could ever have and a loving bop bop to his only grandson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. He showed compassion and love to everyone. He will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and friends, until we can all be together again. 

David will be remembered by his loving wife Melissa Ann Havens, children Michael Altizer, Alyssa Schweibish, Dustin Havens, Meagan Havens, Jonathan Havens and grandson Kai Schweibish.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church 4318 North Chestnut Street Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907 at 10:00AM.
