Obituary of Cynthia Lee Lone
Cindy Lone passed away peacefully in her home on May 19th, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Cindy was born on June 4th, 1952 to Hugo and Ethel Midlam of Denver, Colorado. She has 2 sisters, Georgia and Barbara and 1 brother Tim that she will be seeing in heaven.
She married Dave on June 25th, 1971. She became a mother to Dave’s four children and went on to have three of her own as well.
Until her health condition made it impossible to live the life she loved Cindy could be found traveling with friends and family, playing cards with the “crazy eights” (Cindy and Dave’s longtime friends) hosting parties and of course loving on her grandchildren. Cindy loved any excuse to throw a party and would make enough food to feed a small army. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved decorating for any holiday but Christmas was her favorite. Not a nook or cranny was left undecorated to the delight of all her grandchildren. Christmas at grandmas was the best.
Cindy worked for many years at deluxe check printers as a proofreader until their closing forced her to look for other employment. She found her new job at the ticket counter of Sports Authority Stadium where she worked all home bronco games. She loved the Broncos so this was a perfect fit for her.
Cindy is remembered by her husband Dave, seven children, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Cindy will be joining a beloved granddaughter, Tia and a baby grandson, Cody in heaven. She is at peace and will live forever in our hearts.
