Obituary of Mary Magdelene Ashlock

Mary Magdelene Ashlock peacefully passed away in her Arvada home on April 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.  The youngest daughter of George and Ethel Row, Mary was born in Valiant Oklahoma on July 11, 1932.  

Mary married Richard Ashlock on December 23, 1947, and celebrated 63 years of marriage creating a beautiful family with their son Richard (Bub) and daughter Tanya. They lived in Valiant until 1951 when they moved to Dallas and then made the move to Colorado in 1960. 

Mary and Richard loved to travel and spent time visiting family and friends in Oregan, Oklahoma and Texas. They also enjoyed going “up the hill” to try their luck on the nickel video poker machines. 

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents George and Ethel Row, brothers Arch and Galan Row, sister, Sarah Blanton. 

She is survived by her children Richard Ashlock Jr (Amy) and Tanya Meisinger, grandchildren Tobi Knight (Patrick), Jessica Halstead, Cory Glauth (Hans) and Samantha Meisinger, great-grandchildren Keegan Taylor (Anika), Kayla Dickson (John), Ryan Knight, Amelia Glauth, Emma Halstead, Addyson Glauth and great great-grandchildren Haley Taylor, Scarlet Taylor, and Brooks Dickson.  

A celebration of Life is scheduled at 11am on Saturday May 20, 2023 at Storyline Church 14605 W 64th Ave, Arvada, CO 80004.  There will be a reception immediately following the service at 7026 Robb St Arvada, CO 80004.
