Obituary of Shelley Ann Wilding
Shelley Ann Wilding peacefully passed away during the early hours of a beautiful, warm, and sunny Saturday morning on March 4, 2023. Shelley was born on July 22nd, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Craig Ross Wilding and Susan McCleery Wilding. Shelley graduated from Ranum High School in 1986 and received her diploma. Shelley experienced marriage shortly after she graduated from high school and eventually divorce. Shelley also experienced being a mother and grandmother. She had two sons, Anthony Michael Wilding, Christopher Ryan, and two grandchildren.
Shelley attended a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) vocational program through Career Enrichment Park (CEP) during her senior year in high school and continued on to Pima Medical Institute to complete the program by earning her CNA skill. Shelley experienced and dealt with a lot of trauma, stress, and mental issues all throughout her life. Despite her limitations and challenges, she was able to graduate from high school and obtain a skill. Because of her mental limitations and challenges, Shelley was disabled for most of her life. Shelley worked hard trying to be a good person to do what was best for her and her immediate family. Shelley loved music and had a genre of musical artists she liked. She loved make-up, perfume, clothes, Betty Boop, cats, singing and writing songs, playing the piano whenever she could find one to play on, collecting porcelain dolls, Holly Hobbie, and Raggedy Ann and Andy.
Shelley is remembered for her singing and for having a beautiful voice. She was a member of the “ShowStoppers” choir at Ranum High school. She is remembered especially for enjoying the joys of the Christmas season. It was her favorite time of the year. She loved christmas trees, lights, ornaments, fudge, food, family, and most of all, presents and her stocking.
Shelley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held a deep belief in her Heavenly Father.
Shelley is survived by her two sons Anthony Michael Wilding and Christopher Ryan, her grand-children, Bayla and Zeekiel, her father Craig Ross Wilding (deceased), her mother Susan, and her brother Michael, and sister Stacey.
Shelley will then be placed to rest at the West Point Cemetery (80 N 4000 W, West Point, UT 84015). A memorial service will be held for Shelley at a later date. Date, time, and location TBD.
