Obituary of Kent David Quillen
Kent David Quillen, age 70, passed away on January 24th, 2023 surround by his loving family after fighting a 5-year battle with cancer.
He was born August 25th, 1952 to Paul and Lucille Quillen in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Kent is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Quillen, Daughters Chandra Betts, Brittany Gagel, Taylor Moore. Stepchildren Robert Parscal, Lisa Parscal and Kristine Parscal. Grandchildren Lincoln Gagel, Indy Rae Gagel, Alex Gutierrez, Caleb Parscal, Keira Parscal and Keili Parscal. Son in-laws Mark Betts, Nick Gagel and Andrew Moore. Brother Randy Quillen, sisters Sherri Quillen and Cindy Petrie. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kent will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts and will be immensely missed. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and true friend to all. He would never hesitate to help anyone with anything. He created a beautiful lasting impression with everyone he touched. Kent had a smile that was so contagious.
Kent was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He loved spending time with family and was a jack of all trades. There is nothing he couldn’t create. Everyone came to him with a request for something and immediately he went to work creating.
Kent was that guy who was always cracking jokes and making us all laugh; even in his final days he found a way to make us smile. His sense of humor was a big part of him and everyone that knew him will forever remember that awesome trait.
He was one of the strongest individuals we ever knew even in his days of severe pain and he always showed great appreciation to all who cared for him.
