Obituary of Bonnie Miller
Bonnie Miller
First and always a Braniff Airways Sky Goddess for 25 years. Her very first plane ride was from Harlingen to Dallas to interview with Braniff at the age of 19. She wanted to get out of her small town to experience more from life and she definitely did. She lived through the golden age of aviation and loved almost every minute of it, especially her fellow hostesses.
Bonnie Jean Henderson Miller was born on December 2, 1944 in Harlingen, TX and flew away on December 22, 2022 from Denver where she's lived since 2015 near her son and family. She passed from complications of dementia like her grandmother and mother.
Bonnie is survived by Lon Orenstein (husband), son William "Tad" Miller (wife Andi), stepdaughter Janine Werner, grandchildren Tessa Miller, Theo Miller, and Max Werner, sister Janet Patterson, plus lots of friends from a life well lived.
In the event a model is needed for a great human being, Bonnie is a wonderful example. Sweet, kind, of the highest integrity, always doing for others — a real stand up person! One of the great planners of our time, she executed on her plan to not be a burden by leaving us quickly.
There will not be a funeral or service. Bonnie will be scattered in the bay of her beloved South Padre Island . You are invited to contribute to any charity or the Alzheimer's Association. The Hallmark Channel will never be the same…
