Manuel Alfred Vega, of Denver, Colorado, born December 6, 1980, died January 20, 2022. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022. Rosary 9:30 Funeral Mass 10:00 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4200 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211.
Survived by his mother Mary Hope Vega. Daughters - Yukiko Marcquee Vega, Alexis Ronni Vega, A’Marie Esperanza Vega, and Dalilah Rose Vega. Sister - Andrea Vega-Sierra and nephews Christopher Milan, Jonathon and Taylor Sierra. Sister - Pamela and Jonty Claudio and nephew Ares Claudio. Sister - Kristel and Eric Vega-Fuentes and nephew Eric Fuentes Jr and Meghan Swinbank and daughter Aleah Fuentes and niece Ellie Fuentes. Little Big Brother - Stephen Vega and girlfriend Meghan Hester. Grandson to (Manuel Sr) and Palma Vega and (Alfred) and Angelina Gallegos. Nephew to many. Cousins to many. Friends to many.
He was born to (Manuel Alonso Jr) and Mary Hope Vega in Denver, Colorado on December 6, 1980.
He married Marlo Lynn Marquez and adopted two girls, Yukiko Marcquee Vega and Alexis Ronni Vega and had a daughter A’Marie Esperanza Vega. He divorced. He met Maricela Angela Aguayo and had a daughter, Dalilah Rose Vega.
He went to Beach Court Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School and North High School where he excelled in his love for sports, football and baseball. His joy for baseball gave him the opportunity to join the “Young Rockies” and go on the road to Arizona and play with the Rockies in their baseball camp. He graduated from North High School. After graduation Manuel went to work with his dad at King Soopers as a warehouseman. Continued warehouseman work over the years found him last at Interstate Express.
He was a devoted father, son, brother, friend and son of God.
The family has requested that all attendees at the service, kindly wear masks.
