Obituary of Wayne Gordon Lyle

After a long fight with mesothelioma, Wayne Lyle passed away on January 3, 2020. 

Wayne was a loving husband to his wife Vivian until her passing in January of 1992.  He was passionate and driven in his professional life while providing and caring for his two children, Jana Lyle (Mark Ellerbusch) and Jeremy Lyle.  He was a loving and devoted partner to Elaine Rains for the past 18 years.  Wayne served our country in the navy, protected our community as a reserve deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and provided enjoyment to thousands of families as a volunteer conductor on the Georgetown Loop Railroad.  He had a positive impact on so many lives and our memories of him will forever be in our hearts.

Military services will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at Staging Area B on Friday, January 31^st at 1:30 pm, a celebration of Wayne’s life will follow at 2:30 at Peak Beverage, 4375 Brighton Blvd., Denver, CO  80216.
