Obituary of Margie L. Cabe

Margie L. Cabe beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Porter Hospice. She was born on January 3, 1932 in Hale, Colorado.

Margie grew up in Fort Morgan, Colorado and was raised by John and Velma Curtis after the death of her mother and twin at birth.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lyall Cabe and an infant daughter. 

Margie was a single parent that raised three children Madelyn Davey, Richard Davey and Debbie Reese.  She met the love of her life Lyall Cabe.  They married in May of 1964 and added to her blended family with a daughter Eileen Boutwell (Frank). 

She is survived by grandchildren Ryan Reese (Kirsten), Jennifer Andrade (Cardo), Dottie Shepperd (Rob Henschel), Lyall Shepperd (Kim), Sherri Hicks, Lanny Hicks, Kelly Redmond and Chris Seegmiller (Joe), and  12 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Northglenn Christian Church 1800  E. 105^th Place, Northglenn Colorado on January 4, 2020 at 11AM.  A luncheon will follow at the church.   In lieu of flowers please send Donations to Porter Hospice 2525 S Downing Street Mason Hall, 2^nd Floor, Denver, CO 80210  or online at PorterHospiceFoundation.org.
